About Me
My name is Ebony, a proud DC native and the owner of Skin Glam Esthetics. I am a licensed esthetician and makeup artist. I specialize in soft glam makeup, facials, and waxing services. My journey in the beauty industry has been fueled by passion, dedication, and continuous learning. I have invested time and resources into perfecting my craft—conducting market research, connecting with fellow artists, taking marketing courses, and enhancing my social media presence.
My love for makeup began when my younger sister asked me to do her makeup for her dance performances. After countless applications, I realized how much I enjoyed it, leading me to take professional classes to refine my skills. Although I briefly stepped away, my passion never faded, and I returned with full force—promoting my business and working with incredible women from all walks of life.
In March 2022, I took the next step in my career by enrolling in esthetics school. Prioritizing my own self-care routine, I developed a deep appreciation for facials and skincare, inspiring me to expand my business beyond makeup. My goal is to make Skin Glam Esthetics a one-stop shop for beauty and self-care, offering facials, waxing, and makeup services. To ensure the best experience for my clients, I’ve revamped my website, booking system, branding, and overall business structure. I’m committed to providing top-tier services that empower and enhance the confidence of every client who walks through my doors.
